My name is Benjamin Packer. I like a lot of things and I have a good brain.
Music is a bit of a passion for me. I study Piano and have just completed my exams for grade 2. I’m planning for 2008 to get grade three for both practical and theory exams, so I can become a sound engineer. As part of my passion for music a like to fiddle around with my computer and create my own music, but most of it is crap. I volunteer at my local radio station and present a number of programs a week. From 1600 to 1730 on a Tuesday I present a show featuring classic rock pieces, and the music we all know and love. From 1730 to 1900 I present a program that showcases all the latest and most popular music in the world at the moment. On a Friday night from 1900 to 2100 I co-present the station’s weekly Requests program, a very hectic program indeed. On a Saturday I schedule a show from 1430 to 1600 that airs all the hits from the 70’s and 80’s. For the record – I’m a 90’s Kid. I also volunteer doing production work for the station, ID’s, Promotions and Community Service Announcements.

I like Film. But not movies. Full-length feature films bore me (mainly because I get distracted WAY too easily). I love short films and music video clips. I’ve volunteered around the place doing filming and DVD production. Dram clubs, singing concerts, cabarets, dinners their the sort of things I help out with.

I’m also a Christian and have recently been to Thailand and done some missionary work with orphans. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had a highly recommend it to anyone who gets the chance.

I like a bit of photography too. And graphic design, but you’ll see plenty more of that, as well as the rest of things to come. . .
